Mr Marshall was a member of the South African Police Services for a period of 14 (FOURTEEN) years and completed his three-year National Diploma in Police Administration in 1996. He left the Police Services with a rank as Captain. He underwent training in the basic polygraph course in 2007 with the Academy for Scientific Investigative Training, an American Polygraph Association (APA) Accredited institution. Since completion of his training, he has conducted thousands various types of polygraph examinations and was found to be a credible expert witness after testifying in the CCMA. He has attended advanced training to keep up to date with the latest developments in the science of polygraph. He is currently a member of International Society of Polygraph Examiners. (ISOPE)
Ms Marshall received her training in the basic polygraph course in 1999 at the Academy for Scientific Investigative Training in Philadelphia, USA, an American Polygraph Association (APA) Accredited Institution. Since completion of her training, she has conducted thousands various types of polygraph examinations. She completed her LLB degree at the University of Pretoria in 2003, writing her final year dissertation on the admissibility of the polygraph and has been admitted as an attorney after attending additional six months’ law school at the University of the Free State and articles. She did an Advanced Certificate in Labour Law and attended various short courses presented by Labour Guide namely Chairing Disciplinary Hearings, Successfully preparing your case at CCMA and Retrenchments and Transfer of Business. Ms Marshall had successfully testified in numerous CCMA matters and found to be a credible expert witness. She attended various advanced training seminars to keep up to date with the latest developments in polygraph. She is currently a member of the UK Polygraph Association.
Riaan Crouse was employed by the South African Police Service (SAPS) for a period of seven (7) years during which time he underwent his NQF5 Learnership in Forensic Science and passed a ten (10) week SAPS training course in Advanced Crime Scene. He completed short courses in Biology and DNA as well as in Fields in Forensic Science and is currently studying his NQF6 in Forensic Biology.
He further completed an eight (8) hour Advanced Polygraph Seminar on Interviewing and Post Interviewing Techniques as well as a five (5) day seminar on Forensic Assessment Interview Technique, Integrated Interrogation Technique and Forensic Statement Analysis presented by the Academy for Scientific Investigative Training, Philadelphia, USA.
